I previously blogged about the easy way how to manage gmail attachments, now Insync for Gmail hits beta 2. As we all know, Insync for gmail is Google mail sync tool which will help you manage and sync Google mail attachments and store it in one place. Anyway, this Insync for Gmail beta 2 is a Chrome extension that adds an "Insync" link next to your google mail attachments and allows you to sync the said attachment to your Google drive or Dropbox folder.

Working within the Cloud using Google docs is a great way to ensure that your files are available whenever you need it. As long as you have internet connection, you will have access to your file wherever you are. But what if power/internet outage or even Google service down temporarily? How can you possibly work with your files where relying on the Cloud can leave you stuck? Below are the Top 4 Cloud Storage Sync tools that can help you sync your entire Google Docs file locally.

1. Insync
Insync is simply Google Drive for business and power users. It gives you a dropbox-like service to sync your Google docs’ files and folders across different device platforms. It offers Google docs offline editing and automatic syncing of your files once you are connected to the internet. Insync is available for Windows, Mac, Linux and different mobile platforms (iPhone, android, windows phone and blackberry). There’s also a version for gmail which enables you to sync all your Gmail attachments to Google Drive or Dropbox using labels.

2. Memeo Connect
Memeo Connect for Google Apps which lets you view files on both desktop and Google Docs. Memeo has a feature called Memeo Gdrive which acts as a physical drive to your machine. One major drawback on using Memeo Connect is that there’s no automatic synchronization of the files so your local files that are not yet online can then be moved to the appropriate Google Docs folder via drag-and-drop to Memeo Gdrive.

3. Syncplicity
Syncplicity offers 2GB storage and sync for upto 2 computers and mobile devices for free. It enables users to easily share files, manage and automatically sync and backup every files and folders not only into Google Docs but also to its own website as well as other computer running syncplicity software.

4. Syndocs
Syncdocs allows users to sync their Google docs’ documents, spreadsheets, presentations and other types of files across all PCs and Google Drive. This eliminate users the need to download the individual documents on Google docs to open and edit from desktop. The one major drawback of Syncdocs is its current version is only available for Windows. Mac and Linux users need Wine, Parallels or Crossover for you to run Syncdocs.

These applications shows the users can now easily transition from a dektop-based computing environment to where Office documents are created and maintained in the Cloud.

Don't you wish to have a Gmail sync tool which will help you manage and sync Google mail attachments and store it in one place?

Insync for Gmail gets your email attachments in the inbox and immediately syncs them to GDrive and Dropbox with the used of labels.

The service allows users to simply backup and sync email attachments to either storage service by simply dropping emails into a dedicated folder. This can be done manually, or you can set up an email filter that automatically labels messages with an attachment so everything syncs without any interaction on your behalf. It’s very easy, all you have to do is to link your Gmail account along with your Insync account - there’s nothing to download.

Once signed in with a Gmail account, users are prompted to provide their Drive or Dropbox credentials and then specify a folder that will sync with their Insync account.

Kudos for this because it is an easy way to manage all your attachments!

I have already mentioned on my previous blog that online cloud storage service is a great way to backup files. This is actually a smart option for both individual and business users. Now let’s find out what more we can get on using those services. Below are some of the benefits of using online data storage services:

Savings – since we don’t need to buy hardware or physical storage devices like external hard drive, cd or even flash disk. We can allot that money to buy for faster computers.

Accessibility – this actually allows us to access our files from any part of the world since there’s an available online file manager or you may download the client and link to the other machine. Be sure to have a computer and internet connection.

Serves as a backup – because it will save you to challenge–server crashes, hard drive failure, network not accessible that has caused irreversible data loss.

Share your files easily – no need to email and attach every files you want to share, just get the shareable link and send it to your friends and loved ones.

Collaboration - mostly, they allow multiple people to edit and collaborate on a single file. No need to worry about tracking the latest version or who has made what changes.
